Introduction to ENL Instruction

Monday, November 13th and Monday, December 4th from 8:30-3:00 at Erie1BOCES, 355 Harlem Road, West Seneca NY 14224, Building B, Room B2a,b

This two-day workshop is geared toward teachers who are new to working with English language learners (ELLs).  Attendance is required for both days.  You will need to bring your laptop, as most materials will be shared electronically.  Participants will learn about:

·        ENL proficiency levels

·        Social-emotional needs of ELLs

·        CR Part 154 Regulations

·        Scaffolding and Differentiation for ELLs

·        Culturally Responsive Teaching

·        Many other strategies and best practices for ELLs!
